Xiaomi has launched MI A3 which is yet another flagship smartphone in the midrange section on 20th August 2019. The first sale of MI A3 will commence on 23rd August 2019 on Amazon.in at 12 noon. Features like AI smart triple camera and 32MP selfie camera has already created hype in the tech community. Technical Specification of Xiaomi MI A3
Starting with the processor of MI A3, it houses Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 665 AIE which is a combination of Octa-core Kryo™ 260 CPU and Adreno™ 610 GPU. The rear camera of MI A3 comprises of AI Smart Triple Camera which includes 48 MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2MP depth camera for portrait mode and bokeh effect.
The primary camera has a Sony IMX586 sensor with 6pcs lens and focal length of ƒ/1.79. It can also shoot 4K video at 30fps. It is also capable of taking slow-motion videos at 1080p, 120fps; 720p at 240fps & 120fps. The front camera of this phone is 32MP AI selfie camera which is capable of taking Panorama selfie.
Xiaomi MI A3 has 15.46cm (6.08) Super AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio & HD+ display (1560 x 720). The display is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5.
Xiaomi has launched A4 in 2 variants. First comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage while other comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Storage can also be expanded to 256GB on both the phones. RAM is dual channel LPDDR4x whereas ROM is UFS 2.1 flash storage.
If we talk about the battery, then you won’t be disappointed as MI A3 comes with 4030mAh (typ) battery which supports quick charge technology. As per the latest trend, you will get Type-C charging port with a built-in rechargeable battery.
It also comes with 7th generation in-screen fingerprint unlock and AI Face unlock for security. It also supports two SIM card, but only one can be primary which supports 4G+/4G/3G/2G calling and data. Once it is available need to check if we are able to make calls from the secondary SIM card or not.
As far as connectivity is a concern of this phone, it supports protocols: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, supports 2.4G WiFi, 5G WiFi, and WiFi Direct. It also supports WiFi Display, Bluetooth 5.0 and can be worked also as an IR remote.
It has many different sensors such as Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Distance sensor, Electronic compass, Vibration motor, IR blaster, & Ambient light sensor.
Xiaomi MI A3 also has 3.5mm headphone port and comes with large 0.915cc speaker box which provides high audio output amplified by Smart PA.
It is available in 3 colors i.e. White, Blue and Grey. But during the sale, we don’t think you will have many choices as everyone will be busy in grabbing it quickly.
Price of Xiaomi MI A3
Xiaomi MI A3 starting price is Rs.12,999 for 4GB RAM and 64 GB ROM variant. You will have to pay Rs. 3000 extra for 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage model i.e. Rs.15,999.
